<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. Description of the investigations to determine the <br />availability and quality of construction materials in the <br />vicinity of the Project area. These shall include dam <br />embankment materials, concrete aggregate, and riprap. The <br />anticipated location of the source of various types of <br />materials shall be based on the reconnaissance of the area <br />made and a review of Whitney's (1981) "Miscellaneous <br />Geologic Investigation - 1:250,000 scale Cortez Quadrangle, <br />1-629 Colorado. <br /> <br />3. Description of the equipment that will be used by the <br /> <br />consultant in the field to carry out the proposed <br /> <br />exploration program. <br /> <br />4. Description of a material testing program including the use <br /> <br />of the information acquired in the proposed site <br /> <br />evaluations. <br /> <br />5. Evaluation of foundation conditions and required treatment <br /> <br />of the proposed site, based on a review of available <br /> <br />information including the results of the exploration <br /> <br /> <br />program. <br /> <br />6. A description of the findings in the reservoir area for the <br />selected site, with particular emphasis to possible slides <br />in the reservoir. In-situ exploration data should be <br />included. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
