A thorough discussion of the following: <br /> <br />(al Proposed geologic mapping of the area including the use <br />of seismic refraction traverses, as necessary. <br /> <br />(bl Indication of the limits of the area that will be <br />geologically mapped, including the scale. <br /> <br />(c) Minimum number of investigation holes that the <br />consultant proposes to sink at the site. <br /> <br />(d) Additional surveys the consultant considers necessary <br />on both abutments of the site to locate rock for <br />possible spillway alignments, or to define foundation <br />conditions. <br /> <br />(e) The review of regional geology, seismicity, and fault <br />locations and interpretation of aerial photographs with <br />respect to regional features such as lineaments, <br />faulting, etc. Also to conduct preliminary seismic <br />hazard evaluation investigations if necessary. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
