<br />gather jnfol"ll!ation on quantity of
<br />land owned or leased, ownership and
<br />operations arrangements, residency
<br />~11!1 nature of farm operations.
<br />
<br />Construction work on the salinity
<br />control is several years behind sched-
<br />ule.Because part 'of the work must lie
<br />done when farmers are not irrigating,
<br />the work may extend over a decade.
