LikeT.ise, diversions <br /> <br />of water by Colorado ditches below Caddoa in excess of 117,900 acre <br /> <br />feet and deliveries to Kansas in excess of 52,000 acre feet, shall be <br /> <br />charged respectively against Colorado's and Kansas one-half of Anticipated <br /> <br />Surplus water. <br /> <br />5. In ascertaining the amount of additional diversions under <br /> <br />junior priorities by ditches above Caddoa Reservoir, the following pro- <br /> <br />cedure is to be observed: <br /> <br />(a) First determine the amount of diversion each day by all <br /> <br />.- ditches below Caddoa under priorities senior to each junior <br /> <br />priority above Caddoa which may be making these additional <br /> <br />diversions. <br /> <br />(b) The above quantity shall then be reduced by the <br /> <br />amotUlt of inflow to Caddoa Reservoir from the Arkansas and <br /> <br />Purgatoire and the accretions to the river below the reser- <br /> <br />voir. <br /> <br />(c) This determined quantity then to be increased by <br /> <br />some estimated amount from five to ten percent to take care <br /> <br />of losses in transit from the headgates of the upstream <br /> <br />ditches m~k;nr such additional diversions, to the headgates <br /> <br />of the ditches below the reservoir which would be entitled <br /> <br />to call for the additional upstream diversions. <br /> <br />(d) Permit each upstream jtUlior'priority to divert <br /> <br />in. order .of priority from the ~~er sUP..P.1r a,::ai.1:e'cle at it.s __ <br />headgate.
