Information on individual <br />strean, runoff, present stream depletion and anticipated future <br />water use requiren:ents are discussed under the appropriate sub- <br />basin headings. A map showing the location and boundary of <br />each of the subbasins and the Little Dolores River and Coates <br />Creek basins is made a part of this report. A surrJ"ary of the <br />findings of study and the effect of strean, depletion on the <br />water supply of the river basin is discussed under the heading <br />SUMJARY. <br /> <br />Draina,.;e Basin <br />The basin e-f the r,.ain ster" of the Colorado River is <br />the Vlat'ershed area of the Colorado located upstrean. fron; the <br />Colorad'c-Utah state line and is one of the principal tributary <br />stream basins of the Colorado River. It is located in the <br />West Central part of Colorado. The Gunnison River basin, al- <br />though tributary to the rr,ain sterr; of the Colorado, is for <br />study purposes considered a separate river basin.
