(,j
'<J'
C ,-)
..-l
':)
( "

Using the information from Stage 3 Pump Test Wells. we have completed our well
spacing for Stage 3. This stage will require about 43 wells and will produce
between 30.000 to 36.000 acre-feet of ground water per year.

The area in Stage 3. east of San Luis Creek drain shows water quality comparable
to Stage 1-2. while the water from the area west of the drain has a higher average
total dissolved solids and sodium +on concentration.

Our salvage well water quality mixing
when blending Stages 1-2 and 3" water.
2 for the mdxing results.

model shows no problem with water quality
Please refer to water quality sheets 1 and

We have established a control system of observation wells in Stages 1-2 and 3 which
will provide positive identification of any fluctuations in the water tables. as
required by Public Law 92-514. Sec. 102(a).

Short term and long term pump tests show no reduction in existing artesian flows.
Section 103 of Public Law 92-514 establishes an operating committee to assure
compliance with this and other potential specified adverse effects of.the project.
Because this project has highly flexible operational methods (including pumping
. rates). the operational constraints prescribed by Public Law 92-514 will be met.

Please refer to tables 1 and 2 for individual well performance in Stages 1-2 and
3 respectively.

We are providing the following stage construction comparisons to assist you in
making your decision.

DESCRIPTION

CONSTRUct
STAGE 1-2

CONSTRUCT
STAGE 1-2 and 3

Estimated ground water
yield (acre~feet/yr.
