In <br />1977, only red shiners were caught by McAda et al. (1977) at the <br />confluence of the Price and Green rivers. Pioneer Environmental <br />Services (Logan, UT) sampled Grassy trail Creek (a tributary of the Price <br />River) in 1993 and 1994. Native species caught included bluehead <br />sucker, flannelmouth sucker, and speckled dace. Nonnative species <br />caught included red shiner, common carp, fathead minnow, and Utah chub <br />(Pioneer 1994). These limited surveys did not provide evidence of the <br />Price River's role in endangered fish recovery.
