<br />,~ <br /> <br />FY 1996 SCOPE.OF-WORK <br /> <br />An Evaluation of the Importance of the Price River <br />to <br />Recovery of Endangered Fishes <br /> <br />DUrlng the 8~ology Committee I~eeting in Salt lake City, Utah. on Tuesday, <br />January 23, 1996. the proposed work vias approved wi th some changes. The <br />changes that will be made in the revised version include: <br /> <br />1. The study will be conducted for 2 years rather than 3 years. <br /> <br />2. PIT-tags will be used on endangered fishes but not the other native <br />fishes_ An alternate, less expensive mark will be used to determine <br />movement from different locations in the Price River. <br /> <br />3. Habitat measurements in selected areas will be made and evaluated as <br />to potential for endangered fishes. Detailed water quality <br />information will be obtained from U.S. Geological Survey records and <br />only basic water quality information will be collected during field <br />acti viti es. <br /> <br />3. The cost for equipment will be itemized. The annual cost will be <br />adjusted for the reduced cost of equipment (i.e.. PIT tags). <br />
