Sanitation facilities will be designed, operated and

maintained to obtain maximum health protection for all outdoor recrea-

tionists. This will be accomplished by maintaining close cooperation

with health and sanitation authorities and by following applicable

environmental health standards and criteria. The provision of sufficient

numbers of strategically located solid waste receptacles coupled with a

regular and meticulously controlled collection and disposal program

should perpetuate a quality recreational area and experience.
The establishment of a permanent body of water will significantly

/lid in meeting the demand for not only water-oriented recreation but

generally recreation 8S well. In an area where existing resources are

deficient, the development of additionsl facilities is invaluable.
