These i'laters vlould be stored in the Eagle-Colorado Reser- <br />voir on All,ali Creek and then pumped into the Sagle-Finey system for deliverJ to <br />Dillon Reservoir, <br /> <br />Pro,iect Altel'"m,tives - Project configuration alternatives identified to date <br />center arJund the use of both of the above projects, various ccobinations of exh, <br />or the use of only an increased capacity Eagle-Colerado system. <br /> <br />vlIILIPHS FDRK COllECTION SYSTIN <br /> <br />'!his project, lecated in Grand COllllty, consists of the ccmpletion of the DHD'l <br />gravity collection system in upper Williams Fork i'latershed, The project \-!Ould <br />extend to the south and west from the Gumliok Tunnel to ferm the middle and south <br />sectors. In addition, the project would E..xtend fl"em the Gumlick Tunnel to the north <br />to canplete the north sector of the system. The I'laters collected fre!:] the various <br />branches of the upper llilliams Fork River i!Ould then be conveyed by gravity fl01'1 <br />facilities to the G\lrrl~ick Turmel Md then throut;ll the Vasquez Tunnel to the r,loffat <br />Tunnel for delivery into Gross Reservoir. <br /> <br />Pro,ject Alternatives - Project configuration alternatives identified to date <br />center arolllld the use of pumping facilities to pump \ffiters dO','iI1stream from the south <br />and middle sectors of the project. The Cllilal right-of-way for these sectors lies <br />within a roadless area desibllated for further study as Hilderness potential by the <br />U.S. Forest Service. The right-of-way is currently in liti('i'l.tion. <br /> <br />TwO FORKS RESERVOIR <br /> <br />Thi" project, located just belm" the confluence of the North fork of the Scuth <br />Platte River 'Qth the South Platte River, lies in Jefferson and Dcuc)as Counties. <br />The project is plarmE:d by the D\-II) to regulate the flo\"ls of the Seuth Platte River, <br />as well as to regulate deliveries thrCugll the Reberts Tunnel.
