The reuse plant \'lOuld treat 1 million gallons of se':Iage <br />effluent daily. If the absolute dependability of the reuse process is established-- <br />and later instituted on a fUll-scale basis-~etropolitan Denver's potable ,later <br />supplies could be increased after the year 2000. <br /> <br />Pro,ject Alternatives - Several nonpotable reuse alternatives such as dual. <br />systems, one ,nth fully treated water and the other reuse water, and fUll-scale <br />J industrial and irrigation uses of reuse water have been identified. The only <br />projects identified arD imple~ented to date are small-scale park and golf course <br />irrigation uses. <br /> <br />S1P-AIGHT CREEK COllECTION SYSTE'~ <br /> <br />'Ihis project is planned by the DI-JD to divert I;ater from Strai["pt Creek near <br />the diversion faCility of the old Oro Grande No.2 Canal in Summit County. Diverted <br />waters would flo'l by gravity to Dillon Reservoir. <br /> <br />Project Alternatives - No major project configuration alternatives have been <br />identified to date for this project. <br /> <br />EAST GOPE COllECTION SYSTEN <br /> <br />This project, also located in Summit County, is p12.nned by the DWD to divert <br />water from tributaries of the Blue River along the east side of the Gore Range and <br />to convey it through a gr2,vi ty flO\'I system to Dillon Reservoir. <br /> <br />Pro,ject Alternatives - Project configuration alternatives identified to date <br />center around the use of pumpinG facilities to collect the waters from the portion <br />of the project vihich lies vdthin the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area. <br />4 <br />
