Work goes ahead on the scaling of abutment areas, <br /> <br />the erection of the cableway towers, and the setting up of the <br /> <br />aggregate separation plant, About 17 percent of the prime contract <br /> <br />work is completed. <br /> <br />At Navajo Dam, more than 8 million cubic yards or nearly <br /> <br />one-third of earth and rock have been placed in the embankment, <br /> <br />Construction under the prime contract is progressing rapidly and is <br /> <br />well ahead of schedule. <br /> <br />PARTICIPATING PROJECTS: <br />.... .'- <br /> <br />Construction moves ahead on the <br /> <br />Stanaker D~ (Vernal Unit, Central Utah Project, Utah), and ~~~! <br /> <br /> <br />.D~ (Paonia Project, Colorado) which were started this year.
