Fold drawings larger than 11" x 17" and insert into individual pockets bound into <br />the manuals. <br />4. Enclose sheets/pages subject to frequent usage by operators in clear plastic. <br />5. Individually annotate standard drawings which are furnished, describe exactly which <br />parts of the drawing apply to the equipment being furnished. <br />6. Identify each submission with the following: <br />a. Date of submission. <br />b. Project title and number. <br />c. Names of Contractor, Supplier, and Manufacturers, include telephone <br />numbers and addresses. <br />d. Names of subcontractors with telephone numbers and addresses, contracted <br />by Contractor for servicing and maintenance of portions of the project. <br />e. Specification section number, intended uses of item in the Work, and equip- <br />ment designation. <br />f. Identify details by reference to sheet detail, schedule or room numbers <br />shown in the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />REVIEW OF SUBMfITALS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />A minimum of fourteen (14) days will be required for Engineer to review each submittal or <br />resubmittal following the receipt of said submittal in Engineer's office of all information <br />required for review of the submittal. Engineer will notify Contractor when the review time <br />must be extended in order to correlate the submittal with other forthcoming submittals or <br />for any other reason which prevents Engineer's timely review. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Engineer will review submittals, affix a stamp, and initials or signature will indicate <br />subsequent action to be taken and will return the submittals to Contractor for distribution. <br />The review actions listed on Engineer's stamp are defined as follows: <br /> <br />1. NO EXCEPI'ION TAKEN - Signified material or equipment represented by the <br />Submittal conforms with the design concept and complies with the information <br />given in the Contract Documents. Contractor is to proceed with fabrication or <br />procurement of the items and with related work. <br /> <br />2. MAKE CORRECTIONS NOTED - Signified material or equipment represented <br />by the submittal conforms with the design concept, and complies with the informa- <br />tion given in the Contract Documents and in accordance with Engineer's notations. <br />Contractor is to proceed with the Work in accordance with Engineer's notations. <br /> <br />3. REVISE AND RFSUBMIT - Signified material or equipment represented by the <br />submittal conforms with the basic design concept; however, it does not comply with <br />the information given in the CODtract Documents. Contractor is to submit a revised <br />submittal responsive to the notations marked on the returned submittal and to the <br />information in the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />lC-S <br />92-m4 <br />
