<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Association <br />in convention assembled on December 5, 1958, does hereby express <br />its deep sorrow over the recent passing of Mr. Squires and does here- <br />bye,xtend, on behalf of all its officers and members, its expression of <br />sincere sympathy to Mr. Squires r family. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 6 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this FIFTEENTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE of <br />the Colorado River Water Users' Association has been another out- <br />standing experience in furthering the Association's fundamental <br />objectives of promoting Basin-wide friendships and, at the same time, <br />providing timely and informative discussions of the water, power and <br />conservation problems so vital to the present and future economy of <br />each of the seven States comprising its membershipj and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, achievement of these objectives became possible <br />only because of the splendid exhibition of initiative and teamwork by <br />numerous individuals and groups throughout the Colorado River Basinj <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Association <br />does hereby express sincere thanks and appreciation to all who par- <br />ticipated in the program and particul~rly to Mayor C, D. Baker of Las <br />Vegasj Jordan Crouch of Reno, President R, J, McMullin, the members <br />of the Program Committee, E, W. Yorke, Hampton C. Oodbe, Philip <br />P. Smith, and Floyd N.
