<br />- <br /> <br />, <br />"- <br />001\193 <br /> <br />voluntary and uncompensated servioes of any person or, with the oonsent of <br />the State, any offioer or employee of a State or politioal subdivision thereof, <br />and to utilize, without additional compensation, the servioes of suoh <br />attorneys, experts, consultants, and research assistants as rray be, at the <br />request of the Board, assigned for that purpose by the Seoretaries of War, <br />Interior, and Agriculture, PROVIDED, That nothing herein shall be construed, <br />in the case of suoh persons, to prevent the payment of necessary travel <br />expenses, and a per diem not in exoess of ClO.OO, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />SEC. B. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated annually suoh <br />sums as may be neoessary to carry out the purposes of this Act. <br /> <br />SEC. 9, The National Resources Committee, created by Exeoutive <br />Order Numbered 7065, dated June 7, 1935, shall cease to exist and stand <br />dissolved within six months after the approval of this Act, and all records <br />and property thereof shall be transferred to the B~ard, together with the <br />unexpended balance of all moneys heretofore or hereafter made available for <br />expenditure by the National Resources Committee, such moneys to be used by the <br />Board in the administration of this Aot. All existing obligations of the <br />National Resouroes Committee shall be assumed by the Board. Such employees <br />of the National Resources Committee as shall be designated by the Board and <br />shall pass noncompetitive exe.minations of fitness, as prescribed by the <br />Civil Service Commission, shall acquire a classified civil service status <br />and beoome emnloyees of the Board, and shall be subjeot to the provisions <br />of the Classifioation Aot of 1923, as amended. <br /> <br />'=t~ <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />SEC. <br /> <br />10.
