A definite plan report
in April 1977 with modifications to the original plan to meet
quirements. Water service is not expected until about 1983.
tions are now estimated to be 80,900 acre-feet annually.

authorized
was prepared
Indian re-
Total deple-

Dallas Creek Project

The project was authorized by P.L. 90-537 on September 30, 1968. A definite
plan report was completed in November 1976 which indicated a total depletion
of 17,100 acre-feet with the water being used for agricultural and municipal
and industrial purposes. The present construction schedule (May 1977) indi-
cates initial storage and water service will occur in 1981.

West Divide Project

A feasibility report was prepared in 1966 and the project was authorized by
P.L. 90-537 on September 30, 1968. A definite plan report is scheduled for
June 1979. Under the feasibility plan depletion would tot~l 76,400 acre-
feet with major uses for irrigation, municipal and industrial uses including
oil shale. Extensive reformulation of the project plan for the definite
plan report scheduled for September 1979 is underway. Present depletion
estimates for irrigation and municipal use total 50,000 acre-feet. No con-
struction schedules are available, but initial storage and water service
could occur about the mid 1980's.

San Miguel Project

A feasibility report was prepared in 1966 and the project was authorized by
P.L. 90-537 on September 30, 1968. A definite plan report is scheduled for
May 1979. Present plans estimate depletions at 53,000 acre-feet with major
amounts contemplated for irrigation, municipal and industrial uses. State
and Federal policy changes indicate modifications in the plans will likely
occur but local interest still strongly supports development in the area
for agricultural and industrial purposes. No construction schedules are
available, but depletions would likely occur in the late 1980's.

Denver Expansion, Colorado Springs Expansion. Homestake, Pueblo, Englewood,
Independence Pass Expansion

After reviewing available data, actual diversion records and other compari-
sons, it was concluded that the September 1976 tabulations were generally
correct except Colorado Springs Expansion was reduced from 6 MAF to 3 MAF
for 1980.

Green Mountain M&I

New water is not presently available for use from Green Mountain due to slide
problems in the reservoir. It is assumed correction would be made before
1990 and allow the use of additional water.

7
