Project Act (43 U.S.C. 1511 et seq.), the Endangered
Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. 1531 et seq.), and
other Federal laws require the Secretary of the Interi-
or to operate Glen Canyon Dam in such a manner as
to protect, mitigate adverse impacts to, and improve
the conditions of the natural 'resources of Grand
Canyon National Park and Glen Canyon National

River Compact, consented to by the Act of August 19,
1921 (42 Stat. 171, chapter 71) and approved by sec-

1064, chapter 42) and other laws relating to regulation
of the Colorado River.
