<br />'':) 5.3.7 Indian Tribes <br />'.J <br />~..' <br />~ The Southern Ute, Ute Mountain Ute. Jicarilla Apache, and the Navajo Nation <br />~ <br />~ have agreed to participate in the Oversight and Biology Committees, and to <br />ensure administration of instream flows for endangered fish species on their <br />tribal lands. In addition. the tribes have agreed to participate in Recovery <br />Program activities funded by the Oversight Committee that involve tribal <br />lands, or activities on tribal lands. A total estimated cost of this in-kind <br />contribution is $ per year for each tribe. <br /> <br />5.3.8 Water Develooment Orqanizations <br /> <br />Water development interests will participate in the Oversight and <br />Committees. Estimated contributions necessary to cover continued <br />and support of recovery activities in the San Juan Basin is $ <br /> <br />Biology <br />involvement <br />per year. <br /> <br />5.3.9 Conservation Orqanizations <br /> <br />Conservation <br />Committees. <br /> <br />organizations will participate in the Oversight <br />Estimated cost of this participation is $30.000 <br /> <br />and Biology <br />per year. <br /> <br />5.3.10 All Particioatinq Orqanization5 <br /> <br />All organizations participating in the Recovery Program will support requests <br />for funding Federal, State and tribal agencies through the appropriate <br />legislative bodies. The organizations will also offer public and political <br />support for the Program which will be a very significant contribution by all <br />parties. <br /> <br />5.4 CAPITAL FUNDS <br /> <br />In addition to the annual costs identified in Table 5-1. capital expenditures <br />may be necessary for flow management (gages and other equipment), fish <br />passages. removal of barriers. participation in n.tcheries and refuges. and <br />possibly other. as yet unidentified. items. <br /> <br />45 <br />
