Most new homes which were <br />built between 1957 and 1961 were constructed to satisfy people <br />who were not interested in the mass-built homes which had been <br />placed on the market. Most cf these recently built homes are <br />more expensive and were built in the rural areas because suit- <br />able sites were not available in Grand Junction. <br /> <br />Oonsidering the fact that suburban residential growth <br />under normal conditions averages approximately 4% per year. <br />according to the averages of Areas I. II, III. IV and V. this <br />rate is realistic for use in antioipating future growth. <br /> <br />The Ute Water System will have a beneficial effect and <br />will cause an increase in the rate of growth. Predicting the <br />extent of this influence is virtually impossible at this time <br />and no tangible value is considered.
