Also presented is the analysis and evaluation of the <br /> <br />10 potential to improve upland watershed condition. The report discusses <br /> <br />I I <br /> <br />the technical, economic, environmental, and social factors involved in <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />making improvements to reduce the associated salt load pickup. <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />COORDINATION <br /> <br />Coordination of USDA activities with state and federal agencies was <br /> <br />accompl ished through the Grand Valley Sal inity Coordinating Committee. <br /> <br />This committee has members from the following agencies and organizations: <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation, U. S. Geological Survey (Water Resources Division), <br /> <br />Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Colorado <br /> <br />State University, Soil Conservation Service, Agricultural Research <br /> <br />Service, Colorado Water Conservation Board, Grand Valley Irrigation <br /> <br />Company, Grand Junction Drainage District, Colorado River Water Conser- <br /> <br />vation District, Grand junction Chamber of Commerce, Grand Valley <br /> <br />Project, Mesa County Soil Conservation District, and Grand Valley <br /> <br />Irrigation Association. <br /> <br />10 <br />
