I-lowevcr, dt such d ti.me ..lS <br />the h 1 5 tu r iCd -l- co n le n t 50-( lr)e~-co n se rv d Ci~ool----W-e-r'e. in <br />the flood control space, and at the same tIme, the <br />simulated storage indIcated it would exceed historical <br />conditions, releases were simulated as those occurrIng <br />hIstorIcally as control of the conservation pool would be <br />under the authorIty of the Corps of Enginecrs. <br /> <br />Two aspects of the above are currently undefined. <br />following: <br /> <br />These are the <br /> <br />a) The irrigation requirement for District 67 Is varIable and <br />terms for definIng its daily values are not agreed upon. <br />The currently used assessment for the IrrIgatIon <br />requIrement establishes its value at 1000 af/da. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />The 4-8 hour release criteria cannot be modelled due to the <br />inability of the program access data tabulated in a <br />time-step small enough to detect the absence of request <br />for a release of water at the time a storage event begins. <br /> <br />-=- <br /> <br />It should be noted that simulated releases beginning April 7 <br />are for the sake of program simplicity, handled as though they begin <br />at 12:01 a.m and not 8:00 a.m. Also, releases durIng the Interim <br />period of March 31 to April 6 drc discontinued at such a time as <br />historical releases are terminated. This effectively forgIves <br />unintentional releases when and where they were noted to occur. <br />
