<br />~) <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />-10- <br /> <br />CHAPTER IV <br /> <br />EVA1~~TIQ~ OF ~~9Q~1~S~MENTS <br /> <br />The Arkansas-White-Red Basins Inter-Agency Committee completed <br />its 32nd year of operation. There were two regular meetings <br />during fiscal year 1987: October 8-10, 1986, and May 20-22, <br />1987. Each meeting provided opportunity for communication and <br />cooperation among the State and Federal agency members. Each <br />meeting had several discussions on water-related programs being <br />implemented in the bssin. The October 1986 meeting featured the <br />theme "Instrearn Flow". It included speakers with varying <br />perspectives on instream flows. The May 1987 meeting program on <br />"Dam Ssfety" offered discussions on dam safety within the <br />Arkansas-White-Red Basins. The program included State and <br />Federal agency involvement in the development and implementation <br />of a dam safety program. <br />
