COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING STANDING COMMITTEE

This committee will participate on behalf of AWRBIAC in regional
planning and national assessment studies. It will monitor
activities of lAC's, WRC's, RBC's, and State and Federal
legislation, reporting on significant items as needed and will
function as the policy review element of AWRBIAC.

It was decided at the 118th meeting of AWRBIAC that the current
charge had been fulfilled and that it would be proper to wait for
a new charge from the full committee before proceeding to a new
topic of interest.

EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION STANDING COMMITTEE

1. Consider and make recommendations to AWRBIAC on methods of
operation to improve the exchange of program information in the
interest of coordination of anticipated studies, studies in
progress, planning programs, project construction agencies, and
such other related matters of exchange of program information as
may be brought to the attention of the committee by AWRBIAC or
its members.

2. Remain sufficiently familiar with the activities of the State
and Federal agencies to identify problems and potential problems
involving exchange of information and recommend solutions
thereto.

3. Prepare reports, as needed, to reflect progress and status of
planning construction, operation, and other program activities
relating to project development of State and Federal
construction.

1. Continue to prepare and distribute the EPIC report every two
years.

2. Coordinate on a rotational basis for each member to report in
more detail on their projects or programs.
