Notel the plan of operation end administration here- <br /> <br />in proposed relates solely to the irrigation pool, and will in no way inter- <br /> <br />fere with operations of the flood pool by or as direoted by the Corps of <br /> <br />Engineers. <br /> <br />(2) The remaining storage spaPe in Caddoa reservoir, oommonly <br /> <br />termed the irri~tion pool, is dedioated to irrigation uses, to be operated <br /> <br />for the purposes of (a) stream flow regulation, and (b) water oonservation, <br /> <br />for the benefit of water users and irrigation interests alang the Arkansas <br /> <br />River in ColoradO and Kansas, inoluding suoh water users and irrigation in- <br /> <br />terests along the Arkensas River obove Caddoa as may share in the oonserva- <br /> <br />tion benefits reflected into upstream areas by operations of the Caddoa <br /> <br />projeot. <br /> <br />7. projeet Benefits. <br />(1) Flood oqntrol benefits cf the Caddoa project, or the bene- <br /> <br />fits of flood damage prevention, are measured by the long-time average <br /> <br />annual savings in demages, from floods originating upstream, to lands and <br /> <br />property located along the ohannel and in adjoining bottom lands of the <br /> <br />-Arkansas-River downstream in Oolarado-and-KanBas.--Suoh-benefits-extend-- <br />
