vairs together with Flamin~ Gorge (Wyoming-Utah) and Lake

Powell (Utah-Arizona) are designated as main stem reservoirs. Losses

from these reservoirs estimated to be about 660,000 acre-feet will

be prorated when necessary to Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming

under the terms of the Upper Colorado River Compact. Hence the 19,000

acre-feet of main stem reservoir losses at Curecanti represents only a

portion of that likely to be charged to the State of Colorado.
