Electric Power Generation <br /> <br />The 1970 water depletion by steam-electric ~eneration plants is <br /> <br />about 6,000 acre-feet. This water is consumed primarily by the <br /> <br />Hayden, C~meo and Nucla plants~~e-i~for coolin~ purposes. <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />e. Recreation and Fish-wildlife <br /> <br />The amount of water consumed for recreation is not of major <br /> <br />significance. Most is used at associated service facilities. Rural Domestic <br /> <br />The rural domestic consumptive use in 1970 was estimated to be <br /> <br />insignificant and included in Municipal and Industrial. All persons <br /> <br />not served by a municipal supply system were considered as rural <br /> <br />domestic users. <br /> <br />~. Livestock and Stockoond Evaporation <br /> <br />Depletions attributable to uses for livestock average about 21,000 <br /> <br />acre-feet annually. These uses incor'?orate the a.-lera~e annual <br /> <br />evaporation from stock watering ponds. <br /> <br />h.
