Water deliveries will be made from Pinewood Reservoir, Flatiron afterbay, and if
necessary, Carter Lake storage. Adams Tunnel diversions will increase in late April and will
average m ft'/s. As runoff develops in late April and early May, Adams Tunnel diversions
will be adjusted to accommodate runoff quantities on the east and west slopes.

Adams Tunnel diversions will be scheduled to minimize a Lake Granby spill, maximize east
slope storage, and to take advantage of operation "skim" to the fullest extent possible. Under
operation "skim", approximately J9,8eO acre-feet of Big Thompson River water will be
diverted at Lake Estes through the Foothills Power System from April through September.
The available "skim" water is 48,988 acre-feet, but due to Lake Granby being near capacity,
9;900 acre-feet of the available "skim" water is foregone.
