ANNUAL OPERATING PLAN FROM FEBRUARY 1 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30

"

Most Probable Inflow Forecast

Green Mountain Reservoir

Turbine releases for replacement, bypass of inflow, power, and reservoir regulation will
approximate 34G ft'/s during February and March. If most probable runoff conditions
develop, releases will be increased to 36e ft'/s during April to achieve the desired storage
target of65,089 acre-feet at the end of April.

As the reservoir fills during the May-July runoff period, releases will be adjusted to achieve
a fill without spill during the early part of July. These
depletions would cause about &:4 gigawatt-hours of power interference at Green Mountain
Powerplant.

Willow Creek Reservoir

Under the most probable conditions, Willow Creek Reservoir will fill to about 10,000 acre-
feet by the end of Jtml\. The minimum required releases of7 Wls to the river during February,
March, and April, 24 Wls during May, and 44 Wls during June will be maintained. A bypass
release through the outlet works of excess water from April through July will be initiated of
Lake Granby is near capacity and to prevent pumped water from Willow Creek from being
spilled at Lake Granby. HDm;~~.S!!i~_!!1!:~~~~tIie;~"",~~~~R!~._
ope.."!!!i!!!'~~~"""":;~~ During April through September,
approximately U,298 acre-feet will be pumped to Lake Granby. Willow Creek storage will
approximate 9;900 acre-feet at the end of the water year.

Lake Granby

Lake Granby storage will be lowered to 392,888 acre-feet by the end of March. With most
probable inflow, storage is expected to be 53J,2eO acre-feet by the end of July, which is_
the normal maximum operating level of536,100 acre-feet (elevation 8279.50 feet).
