<br />The Coordinating Committee has been functioning for several years through
<br />
<br />periodic meetings and individual contacts to provide guidance to the Reservoir
<br />
<br />Control Center in operation of the main stem system. It assists in formULat-
<br />
<br />ing plans for reservoir operations and agrees upon specific annual operating
<br />
<br />plans. Its meetings usually,are held in April or May to outline criteria and
<br />
<br />objectives, followed by an August or September meeting to reach agreement on a
<br />
<br />finalized program of operation for the year ahead.
<br />
<br />Pafford said the Committee will .relcome all constructive suggestions as to
<br />
<br />the best methods of operating the reservoirs in order to provide the most ef-
<br />
<br />ficient use of this large storage system within the fundamental guides for this
<br />
<br />operation oy the Congress.
