OOlL~I.j

.

.

I

\

Preparation of design data, plan formulation studies, watcr supply

studies, and agricultural economic studies are in progress on the

BATTLEMENT MESA PROJECT. A proposed feasibility report is scheduled
for completion in F.Y. 1966.

Plan formulation studies, water supply studies, and agricultural

economy studies are in progress on the BLUESTONE PROJECT. A proposed

feasibility report is scheduled for completion in F.Y. 1967.

~ On the UPPER GUNNISON PROJECT, collection of agricultural, economic,

and irrigation data has been completed on representative farms selected

for evaluation in determining the scope of the feasibility studies to

be undertaken. Conclusions reached from the data obtained are that the

scope of the feasibility investigations should be limited to supplying a

supplemental water supply to bolster the economy of the existing farm

units and through bringing in a small amount of new lands for irrigation

that can be incorporated into existing units. The scope also should

include feasible municipal and industrial water supplies, related recre-

I
/

ation and fish and wildlife developments, and such pover development as

may be found practical.

~ Plan formulation studies, engineering surveys, drainage studies,

and water supply studies are in progress on the GRAND MESA PROJECT, A

contract has been awarded for aerial topography of the project area.

r!) Preparation of design ,data and \/riting of the plan formulation and

. water supply appendixes are in progress on the modified plan for the

I

, I

YELLOW JACKET PROJECT.
