<br />. <br /> <br />'" - ,"' 0 ,"! <br />1l 'J il ':, :, 't <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Piedra River near Arboles <br /> <br /> <br />The gage is located 5.Z northeast of Arboles Post Office and 8 miles <br /> <br /> <br />upstream from its mouth in Section Zl, Township 3Z North, Range 5 West. The <br /> <br /> <br />drainage area is 650 square miles. The period of record is August 196Z through <br /> <br /> <br />1985. Gage records are considered good, except those for the winter period, <br /> <br /> <br />which are poor. Diversions for in-basin irrigation, trans basin diversions, and <br /> <br /> <br />transbasin water imports affect the flows at the gage. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Analyses have been performed by W. W. Wheeler and Associates, for <br /> <br /> <br />the purpose of extending the stream gage flow records of the Fiedra River near <br /> <br />Arboles to include the January 1951 through July 196Z period.
