Sponsors are <br />the Napa, Sonoma Valley and Satoyome RCDs, the County of <br />Napa and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> <br />2. Tomki Creek <br /> <br />Economic evaluation of forest, forest road and gravel <br />extraction erosion control practices in a coastal watershed. <br />Sponsors are the Mendocino County RCD, California Department <br />of Forestry, the Regional Water Quality Control Board and <br />County of Mendocino. <br /> <br />3. Long Valley <br /> <br />Evaluation and plans for stream stabilization and gully <br />erosion of watershed land treatment practices to reduce <br />erosion in a mountain valley (volcanics), The Sponsor is <br />the East Lake RCD. <br /> <br />C. San Antonio Creek Watershed Area Study <br /> <br />A Field Review Report was published in March 1984 which indicated <br />project-type actions were not feasible under PL-566 program. <br />Flood control, groundwater overdraft, water augmentation and water <br />management were the primary concerns of the Santa Maria Resource <br />Conservation District. <br /> <br />D, Paiute Creek Watershed'Area Study <br /> <br />A Field Review Report was prepared in June t984 indicating project- <br />type actions under the RC&D program were not economically feasible. <br />Alternative actions for flood control that the City of Susanville <br />could implement using local funds are included in the brief report. <br /> <br />E. Cameron Park Watershed Area Study <br /> <br />A Detailed Work Outline of planned activities to address the <br />flooding and erosion problems in' a rural cOlTlllunity has been <br />prepared. Field surveys by El Dorado County are nearing completion <br />and hydrologic investigations are underway. In addition to pro- <br />viding a flood control plan and flood zone mapping for the <br />comnunity of Cameron Park, the results and procedures developed <br />wi 11 provi de gui dance to other Si erra foothill areas that are <br />experiencing land use shifts to rural subdivisions. <br /> <br />l) - 3 <br /> <br />ii <br />
