<br />....... <br />~ <br />.- <br />C"'< <br /> <br />"C <br /> <br />GENERAL STANDARDS FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />- The standards of the NFIP must be used for new construction and sub- <br />stantial improvements (see Appendix 1). <br /> <br />- R.V./camp sites may be placed in the floodplain provided they are con- <br />structed in conformance to the R.V./camp site standards (see Appendix 2). <br /> <br />- U.S. Army Corps of Engineer permits must be obtained when required (see <br />Appendix 3). <br /> <br />- Dock construction standards should be used when constructing docks (see <br />Appendix 4). <br /> <br />- Recommended methods of bank stabilization should be used (see Appendix <br />5) . <br /> <br />- Mobile home sites must be constructed on non-flood prone sites. <br /> <br />No encroachment is allowed within the floodway.
