Public attendance at regular meetings shall be encouraged by <br />advance information, by choosing interesting subject matter, and by <br />selecting appropriate meeting places. <br /> <br />b. Coverage by the press and other informational media shall be <br />encouraged and aided through the office of the AWRBIAC Chairman. <br /> <br />c. Special invitations may be extended by AWRBIAC members to <br />those persons having a particular interest in the subject matter. <br /> <br />d. Information presented to AWRBIAC shall be reduced to simple <br />non-technical .terms insofar as practicable for the purpose of this <br />section, <br /> <br />Section 3. Collection of Information on Non-Governmental Activities <br /> <br />a. Invitations to appear before or work with AWRBIAC or its <br />committee may be issued to those in non-Governmental capacity who are <br />in a position to contribute significantly to the program of AWRBIAC. <br /> <br />b. Reviews and reports on significant non-Governmental activities <br />being of interest to AWRBIAC may be requested of member agencies or <br />others from time to time. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII - REVIEWS AND DISCUSSIONS OF PRELIMINARY PROJECT PLANS <br />AND REPORTS. CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES, OPERATION <br />AND MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Section 1. Procedure for Coordinatin~ and Inte~rati~ Interests of <br />Member A~encies <br /> <br />a. Wherever practicable, ad hoc committees shall be appointed to <br />discuss in round-table conferences preliminary project or program plans <br />or reports, schedules for the execution of a major project or program <br />and major operation and maintenance problems, and to present their <br />findings to the sponsoring agency in the nature of informal comments <br />and suggestions. Such committees will report back to AWRBIAC only that <br />the assigned task has been completed, except where major differences of <br />opinion arise. Procedure for resolving differences will then be ini- <br />tiated. <br /> <br />b.
