The Colorado River Basin <br />Salinity Control Forum is now attempting to schedule markup of the bill in <br />both the House and Senate. <br /> <br />On April 30, Clinton met with the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum <br />Work Group in Salt Lake City. <br /> <br />2.2 ANTICIPATED MAY EVENTS <br /> <br />The May 1 Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum meeting in Salt Lake <br />City will be attended by Williams, Barrett, and Clinton. Topics to be <br />discussed include technologies, economics, and schedules for AQUATRAIN I and <br />II. <br /> <br />Clinton and Johnson will brief New Mexico Governor Anaya's Subcabinet in <br />Santa Fe on May 3. <br /> <br />3.0 SUBTEAM: COAL MARKET/COAL SUPPLY <br />3.1 APRIL EVENTS <br /> <br />A contact in Japan reported that interest is growing for purchase of <br />AQUATRAIN-delivered coal.
