The reservoir for:::ed by Paonia Ile.m has a maximum width of about <br />0.5 mile, and its length, with a wter surface at spillwy crest (elev. <br />6,447.5), is about 3.3 miles. The normal full pool capacity at sp1l1wy <br />crest elevation is 20,950 acre-feet, and the area is 334 acres. The <br />total capacity of the spillway design flood pool (elev. 6,454.1 ft. m.s.l.) <br />is 23,230 acre-feet, with an area of 358 acres. The capacity of the res- <br />ervoir at the bottom of the flood control pool (elev. 6,373.0 ft. m.s.l.) <br />is 3,990 acre-feet. A map of the reservoir area is shown on chart 12. <br />Area and capacity curves are shown on chart 13, and a tabulation of areas <br />and capacities is given in chart 14. <br /> <br />8. RBCREATION FACILITIES <br /> <br />Recreation facilities at Paonia R.!servoir are shown on chart 12. There <br />are tvo CSIlIpgroun:is, two picnic areas and a boat-launching ramp con- <br />structed on the east side of the reservoir. The boat ramp is usable for <br />a few months each year wen the reservoir contains sufficient water. <br /> <br />(, <br /> <br />9.
