<br />Of the 1,627,000 acre-feet of water depleted bet\~een 1949 and 1970 for
<br />water user activities, 920,000 I~ere associated with irrigation farming and
<br />300,000 as a result of Hatershed treatmcnt and stockponds. About 275,000
<br />acre-feet were lost to evaporation in tributary reservoirs and minor
<br />depletions by municipal use, mining, thermal pOHer, and rural domestic use
<br />consumed the remainder. Additional infor,mation regarding more specific
<br />location of the 1949-1970 depletions are contained in Exhibit 2.
