A detailed examination was made of Rifle <br /> <br />Valley for evidence of flood damage and search was made of the <br /> <br />files of the Rifle Telegram for mention of floods. Costs of re- <br /> <br />pairing ditch headings were secured from the records of ditch <br /> <br />companies and estimates of crop damage from the ranchers along <br /> <br />the stream. <br /> <br />55 <br />
