The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of September was computed to be
141 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 2138 AF net San Juan-Chama (SJ-C)
losses, as shown in Table 2. There were 313 AF diverted through Azotea Tunnel this month.

There was 0.30 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir, which is 19% of the
September running average of 1.58 inches. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir are
summarized in Tables 1-3.

There was a total of 141 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron through seepage (Table 3) .
There were no SJ-C releases for the month September.

There was a total: of 1790 AF of SJ-C released for the month of September from El Vado, this
was from the 'Middle Rio Grande District's (MRGCD) pool for irrigation needs down stream
(Table 4) '.

There was 54 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which the total was released from
MRGCD's pool for irrigation needs (Table 4, may be slight rounding differences from letter
vs. table).

Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 174 AF. There were 4.7 AF of
losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at Otowi.

Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu and Jemez Canyon
Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage and evaporation of Rio
Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are shown in Table 6.

Table 5C provides water accounting information for Elephant Butte Reservoir. Please note
content information for Elephant Butte has been corrected taking into accountant the latest
area capacity tables effective January 1, 2001.
