The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of August was computed to be
146 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 1310 AF net San Juan-Chama (SJ-C)
losses, as shown in Table 2. There were 4455 AF diverted through Azotea Tunnel this
month.

There was 1.98 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir, which is 77% of the
August running aver,age of 2.59 inches. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir are
summarized in Tables 1-3.

There was a total of 146 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron (Table 3) . There were
no SJ-C releases for the month August.

There was a total of 2401 AF of SJ-C released for the month of August from El Vado, this
was from the Middle Rio Grande District's (MRGCD)pool for irrigation needs down stream
(Table 4).

There was 4549 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which the total was released
from MRGCD's pool for irrigation needs (Table).

Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 393 AF. There were 53.1 AF
of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at Otowi.

Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chams pools at Abiquiu and Jemez Canyon
Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage and evaporation
of Rio Grande water in EI Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are shown in Table 6.

All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and
analyzed.
