", <br /> <br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />August 2001 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of August was computed to be <br />146 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 1310 AF net San Juan-Chama (SJ-C) <br />losses, as shown in Table 2. There were 4455 AF diverted through Azotea Tunnel this <br />month. <br /> <br />There was 1.98 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir, which is 77% of the <br />August running aver,age of 2.59 inches. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir are <br />summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />There was a total of 146 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron (Table 3) . There were <br />no SJ-C releases for the month August. <br /> <br />There was a total of 2401 AF of SJ-C released for the month of August from El Vado, this <br />was from the Middle Rio Grande District's (MRGCD)pool for irrigation needs down stream <br />(Table 4). <br /> <br />There was 4549 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which the total was released <br />from MRGCD's pool for irrigation needs (Table). <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 393 AF. There were 53.1 AF <br />of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chams pools at Abiquiu and Jemez Canyon <br />Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C.
