<br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />June 2001 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of June was computed to <br />be 138 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 2866 AF net San Juan-Chama <br />(SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were 29283 AF diverted through Azotea <br />Tunnel this month. <br /> <br />There was a total of 138 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There were no <br />SJ-C releases for the month June. <br /> <br />There was a total of 14 AF of SJ-C released for the month of June from El Vado, <br />this was from Los Lunas's pool to Otowi. <br /> <br />There was 1763 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which 1241 AF was <br />released from the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy Districts (MRGCD)pool (348 AF was <br />borrowed Cochiti's Rec pool, which will be payed back to MRGCD's pool in El Vado, <br />893 AF was released in conjunction with the recession)_ 68 AF was released from <br />Bernalillo's pool to Otowi. 454 AF was released from Santa Fe's pool to Otowi. <br /> <br />There was 2885 AF of SJ-C water released from Jemez Canyon Dam, of which 627 AF <br />was released for the City of Albuquerque for depletion's at Otowi, 2258 AF was <br />released for the recession. <br /> <br />There was 0.31 inches of precipitation at <br />June running average of 0.91 inches. <br />Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Heron Reservoir, which is 35% of the <br />The monthly computations for Heron <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 1193 AF. There were <br />27.6 AF of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water.at <br />otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu and Jemez <br />Canyon Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage and <br />evaporation of Rio Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are shown in <br />Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and <br />analyzed. <br />
