<br /> <br />San Juan-Chama <br />Water Accounting <br />Albuquerque Area Office <br />May 2001 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of May was computed to <br />be 131 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 1566 AF net San Juan-Chama <br />(SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were 51092 AF diverted through Azotea <br />Tunnel this month." <br /> <br />There was a total of 3574 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron. There were no <br />SJ-C releases for the month May. <br /> <br />The were no SJ-C releases for the month of May from EI Vado. <br /> <br />There were 1302 AF of SJ-C water released from Abiquiu, of which the total was <br />from the City of Santa Fe's pool to Otowi. <br /> <br />There was 1.91 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir, which is 126% of the <br />May running average of 1.52 inches. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir <br />are summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 2306 AF. There were <br />11.7 AF of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at <br />Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu and Jemez <br />Canyon Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage and <br />evaporation of Rio Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are shown in <br />Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and <br />analyzed. <br />
