San Juan-Chama Water Accounting Albuquerque Area Office November 2001 The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of November was computed to be 137 acre-feet (AF) as shown in Table 3. There were 112 AF net San Juan-Chama (SJ-C) losses, as shown in Table 2. There were no diversions through Azotea Tunnel this month. There was.. 1.25 inches of precipitation at Heron Reservoir, which is 75% of the November running average of 1.68 inches. The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir are summarized in Tables 1-3. There was a total of 137 AF of Natural (RG) released from Heron through seepage (Table 3) . There was 23806 AF of SJ-C released for the month of November, of which 11547 AF was released for the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD) to their pool in El Vado. 11010 AF was .released for the City of Albuquerque (City) to their pool in Abiquiu. 519 AF was released from Cochiti' s pool to the Cochiti Rec Pool in Cochiti. 730 AF was released from Nambe's pool to go down stream for irrigation depletions at Otowi. There were no SJ-C releases from El Vado for the month of November. There were no SJ-C releases from Abiquiu for the month of November. Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 168 AF. There were 3.7 AF of losses on the reservoir. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at Otowi. Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Abiquiu arid Jemez Canyon Reservoirs, and Cochiti Lake are presented in Tables 5A-5C. Storage and evaporation of Rio Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs are shown in Table 6. Table 5C provides water accounting information for Elephant Butte Reservoir. All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and analyzed.
