Also, for those <br />eligible, a1]owance will be paid for: replacement housing. Normally, suoh <br />payments will be in addition to those paid for the owner's land and <br />improvements, " , <br /> <br />n <br /> <br />Help will also be provided fot' finding replacement housing and getting <br />financial advice. Colorado 80225. <br /> <br />An est'imated 750 people would pe displaced by the Narrows Unit based <br />on the proposed right-of-way requirements for the several project purposes. <br />A preliminary housing availability study for displaced.people has been <br />developed by the Bureau of Reclamation. Assistance will be readily <br />avaiJable to the people by locating a Bureau'relocation office in the <br />area. <br /> <br /> <br />,,' <br />'\).:. <br />, :"''" <br />~~~\ <br /> <br />":'- <br /> <br />How WILL THE LOCAL SCHOOLS BE ,AFFECTED? <br /> <br />The acquisition of land by the Bureau of Reclamation for construction <br />of the Narrows Unit will result in the taking of a lat'ge part of the lands <br />within the Weldon Valley School District (Horgan County School District <br />RE-20) as well as the acquisition of the school's physical facilities. <br />This will necessitate the making of , provisions for the education of the <br />childt'en now residing within this school district.
