<br />The Narrows Reservoir will have a total storage cepacity of
<br />973,000 acre-feet and a sUt'face area of over 25,000 acres at the top of
<br />the flood control pool (elevation 44.2B.5). Of that opacity, 475,000 aCI'e-
<br />feet will be for exclusive flood control; 373,000 acre-feet will be principali
<br />for irrigation storage, 75,000 acr.e-feet ~1ill be used for flood contt'ol dlJrir;~i
<br />the flood season and for irri9ation storage the l'emainder of the yeilr, and
<br />50,000 ac,'e-feet will be used fOl' dead and inactive storage. The reservoir
<br />will have a shoreline of 40 miles at the top of the j~int use pool,

<br />of the main Union Pacific Railroad" and about 43 miles of State Highway

<br />Goodrich, and Orchard with'in the resel'voir area will be acquired, and the
<br />residents relocated.
