<br />A motion to accept the minutes as corrected and clarified was made, <br />seconded, and passed. <br /> <br />4. Report on Water Resources Council Activities <br />and Reg iona 1 Pl anni ng Program <br /> <br />Mr. Joel Frisch, Water Resources Council; Washington, D.C., presented a <br />status report on programs and initiatives of the Council. He introduced <br />goals and objectives for developing Comprehensive Regional Water Resource <br />Management Plans for non-Title II Commission Areas. Material discussed <br />by Mr. Frisch is contained as Part C-2 of attachments. <br /> <br />The PSIAC membership registered interest in the first phase of the <br />RegiOnal Planning Activity. <br /> <br />After discussion, an amended motion was passed to schedule a PSIAC <br />meeting in early February 1980 (prior to end-of-February deadline) for <br />the purpose of further discussion and determination of PSIAC's interest <br />in participating in Levell of the program. (See Section 10 of these <br />minutes.) . <br /> <br />5. Executive Subcommittee Report <br /> <br />Chairman Laren D. Morrill, State of Colorado, Denver, reported on action <br />taken at the Subcommittee meeting on December 11. The minutes of the <br />PSIAC Executive. Subcommittee are contained as Part C-3 of attachments. . <br /> <br />The Subcommittee recommended that PSIACsend a letter to Regional <br />Foresters asking that the Forest Service keep PSIAC informed of planning <br />studies made in connection with the National Forest Management Act. <br />PSIAC has particular interest ;n water yield aspects of National forests-- <br />especially water yield aU9mentation studies. Lyle Klubben, Department <br />of Agriculture, read a draft of a letter he had prepared. The letter is <br />included as Part C-4 of attachments. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A motion was made to transmit the letter as proposed, seconded, and <br />passed by voice vote. <br /> <br />The Subcommittee suggested that they meet once annually or as needed <br />(compatible with Charter, Article 5) and that the PSIAC Parent Committee <br />continue to meet three times a year. <br /> <br />A motion was made, seconded, and passed to approve annual or as-needed <br />meetings of the Executive Subcommittee. <br /> <br />6.
