Call to Order <br /> <br />The business meeting was called to order by Alternate Chairman N. W. <br />"Bill" Plummer. Department of the Interior. Salt Lake City, Utah. acting <br />for Chairman Robert S. Sanchez. Jr.. Special Assistant to the Secretary. <br />Department of the Interior. Albuquerque. New Mexico. The meeting commenced <br />at 8:30 a.m., December 12. 1979. in the Bi10xi Room of the Showboat Hotel <br />in Las Vegas. Nevada. The Chair expressed appreciation to Duane R. <br />Sudweeks, State of Nevada, for his handling of meeting arrangements. <br /> <br />Self-introductions were made by attendees. A list of attendees is included <br />as Part C-1 of attachments. <br /> <br />2. Announcements <br /> <br />There were no announcements. <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Minutes of the 79-2 meeting were reviewed and corrections suggested by <br />Eugene Neblett, Department of Energy. San Francisco. California. as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 4: "Melvin Gordon" should be changed to "Me1 Gordon" in <br />two places. <br /> <br />Section 9: 5th line. delete word "are" at end of sentence; 6th <br />and 9th lines, change words "their" to "his". <br /> <br />Barry Saunders. State of Utah. introduced discussion of Item 9 reading. <br />"Mr. Barry Saunders agreed to invite four such organi za ti ons to the Las <br />Vegas meeti ng. " Mr. Saunders requested that thi s sta tement be revi sed <br />to read: "PSIAC members are requested to identify water-related organi- <br />zations within their respective areas. These organizations may be <br />invited to future PSIAC meetings." <br /> <br />1/ These minutes prepared by Executive Secretary Dean Johanson. <br />Department of the Interior. Boulder City.
