<br />3452 <br /> <br />(iv) Assessed Valuation Of The Property To Be Included <br />Within The Service Area And/Or Boundaries; <br /> <br />Currently, Colorado Springs assessed valuation is $852,998,280.00 and <br />the assessed valuation of Aurora is $614,624,915.00. <br /> <br />The Federal lands located in the development area are not assessed, <br />therefore the criteria does not apply. <br /> <br />(v) Revenues And Operating Expenses Of The Facility; <br /> <br />The anticipated operating expenses of the Homestake Phase II Project can <br />be found identified by year in Attachment 15. Revenues w111 be adequate <br />to cover debt service and operation and maintenanee (O&M) costs. These <br />revenues wil1 come from tyO sourees, system development charges and <br />rates. <br /> <br />(vi) Amount And Security Of Proposed Debt And Method And <br />Estimated Cost Of Debt Service; <br /> <br />The amount of the proposed debt for the Homestake Phase II Project is <br />$91,050,000 (1983 dollars) divided equally between the Cities of Colorado <br />Springs and Aurora. Revenues are pledged as security for the debt. <br />Colorado Springs presently expects to issue revenue bonds to pay for <br />their portion of the project. The City of Aurora Yil1 issue revenue <br />bonds secured by general obligation of the City to pay for their portion <br />of the project. <br /> <br />The estimated total cost of debt service is $339,097,800 and the annual <br />cost of debt service can be found in Attachment 14. <br /> <br />(vii) <br /> <br />Details Of Any Substantial Contract Or Agreement For <br />Revenues Or For Service To Be Paid, .Furnished, Or <br />Used By Or With Any Person Association, Corporation, <br />And Governmental Body; <br /> <br />Contracts exist between the City of Colorado Springs and military instal- <br />lations for bulk yater sales. These installations are in or near the <br />City limits of Colorado Springs. Aurora is committed to supplying 2,500 <br />af/yr of Homestake Phase I water to the City of Pueblo for municipal <br />use, and up to 3,100 af to Roxborough District. <br /> <br />(b) Provide A Debt Retirement Schedule Base Upon Anticipated <br />Service Fees And Tax Base; <br /> <br />A debt retirement schedule can be found in Attachment 14 showing annual <br />payments. <br /> <br />20 <br />
