(d) Consideration be given to tbe establishment of a
library in vhich all available reports and studies on econolll1cs
of the AWR Basins and surrounding regions be collected and IIl&de
readily available for AWllBIAC and mealbersUp use.

In an action parallel to that taken with respect to the
Ad Hoc Committee on Hydrologic Coordination, AWRBIAC, &1so at tbe
September 1956 meeting, adopted the report and discharged the Ad
Hoc Collllll1ttee on Econolll1c Base Survey. TUs report was also trans-
mitted to the Chairman of the Inter-Agency COJIlJIl1ttee on Water
Resources for the information of that Committee and for its considera-
tion of Recommendations #2 and 13. On Marcb 6, 1957, the recommendations
of AWRBIAC vere referred to the Subcollllll1ttee on Evaluation Standards for
cOJlllllBnt and guids.nCle. 'fhe subcolllm1ttee under date of April 19 advised
the Chairman of the Inter-Agency Colllm1ttee on Water Resources that 1101-
tbough they agree generally vitb the desirability of tbe recommendations
of AWRBIAC, tbe opportunities for successful fulfillment ot the reClom-
mendations vould be enhanced by delaying until impending revisions nov
being made by the subcolllm1ttee to the publication entitled, "Proposed
PractiCles for EClonom1c Analysis of River Basin ProJeClts," commonl.y
knOYIl as the Green Book, are completed. In reporting this action to
AWRBIAC at the Fort Worth meeting, Mr. LeBosquet observed that tbis
deferral action will not terminate consideration of AWRBJAC's
reClommendations.

No further action, other than adoption of the recommendation
as a part ot tbe report, had been taken to date by AWRBIAC on recom-
mendation jJ. relative to the establishment of a library otreports and
studies of the basins and surrounding regions. Hovever, consideration
of means of implementing this recommendation is anticipated.

Upon the recommendation of the Administrative Committee,
which bad previously been requested by the Chairman to review channels
for the exchange of progl'lUll information among agencies, the Chairman
at the September 1956 meeting appointed witb approval of AWRBIAC, an
Ad Hoc Colllll1ttee on Exchange of PrograJII Information directed:

Clio) To tully explore and make recOIIIIIIBndations to AWRBIAC
for the establishment of a procedure to facilitate exchange of informa-
tion &moDg the member agencies on the current and contemplated
activities of the agencies.

Tbe collllll1ttee vas instructed to give particular attention
to the planning phase ot these program activities, for it is during
