Subcommittee's joint task force with Columbia Basin Inter-Agency con- <br />tinued consideration of Suggested Design Criteria for Water Works in <br />Recreational Areas. <br /> <br />b. Subcommittee approved the continuation of a joint task force with <br />CBIAC to consider the practicability of utilizing domestic water supply <br />reservoirs for recreation, and consider developing a guide manual for <br />recreation use of such reservoirs consistent with preserving safe domestic <br />water qual ity. <br /> <br />4. Recently Initiated Projects <br /> <br />a. Compilation of material for glossary of recreation terms. <br /> <br />b. Investigate techniques of use, use demands, land requirements and other <br />factors of a predictive nature. <br /> <br />Sedimentation Subcommittee <br /> <br />1. Meetings: <br /> <br />Subcommittee held four meetings at the same location as the parent committee <br />and a joint field trip with the Hydrology Subcommittee in the Los Angeles <br />vicinity in connection with the 63-1 meeting of PSIAC, An additional meeting <br />was held at Jockson, Miss. in January of 1963, during the Second NoJtional <br />Inter-Agency Sedimentation Conference. <br />
